GPT-5 marks a new chapter in the business use of artificial intelligence

OpenAI unveiled GPT-5, its most advanced language model to date, with improvements in reasoning, accuracy, speed, and multimodal capabilities. The company describes it as a tool designed to be integrated into the operational core of businesses and organizations.
Among the new features, GPT-5 offers superior performance in complex tasks such as advanced mathematics, problem solving, structured reasoning, and agent use. It is also optimized for API integrations, allowing companies to adapt it to their internal workflows.
Large corporations such as BNY Mellon, Figma, Intercom, Lowe’s, Morgan Stanley, SoftBank, and T-Mobile are already testing the model. According to OpenAI, some of them have reported measurable improvements in accuracy, reliability, and speed in key processes.

The launch coincides with a moment of high adoption: nearly 700 million people use ChatGPT every week, suggesting greater public familiarity with AI tools. In this context, the company seeks to position GPT-5 as a central resource for increasing productivity and collaboration in corporate environments.
In terms of availability, GPT-5 is already active for ChatGPT Team customers and will soon be available for Enterprise and Edu editions. The GPT-5 Pro version, with extended reasoning capabilities, will also be available for companies that require more comprehensive and contextual responses.
OpenAI suggests that early adoption of this model could give organizations a competitive advantage, although it does not specify cost figures or technical limitations beyond the infrastructure required for its use.
